IMMIGRATION SERVICES · LIMITED SCOPE
Focused attorney consultation
Immigration services for individuals and law firms: defined attorney engagements, supervised paralegal preparation and restricted clerical help. Compare the deliverable and professional responsibility before making an inquiry.
Well-Pleaded Group LLC operates a technology marketplace, not a law firm. Legal advice may be provided only by a separately engaged, authorized independent attorney.
You may not need to hire a lawyer for an entire case to ask a well-defined question. Through Well- Pleaded, you can request an independent attorney to consider a specific issue, explain its immediate implications and agree on a limited next-step deliverable. The attorney—not the marketplace—decides whether the question can be addressed competently within this format.
Who this can be for: Someone who needs to understand which forms may apply to a particular request, what information an identified form asks for, whether a specific document raises an issue that needs legal review, or what work should be included in a separate preparation order. An attorney may need additional records, more time or a broader engagement; such work is not silently included.
What may be included: conflict/eligibility-to-accept screening by the attorney; a separately accepted limited-scope agreement identifying the question; a scheduled or asynchronous consultation in a format the lawyer approves; review of the agreed materials; a concise written summary or checklist if included in that agreement. Only an attorney may provide personalized legal advice. Exact duration, response method, turnaround and price appear in the attorney's own offer, not in unverified universal website promises.
What is not included by default: filing forms, appearing before USCIS/EOIR, access to an entire record of proceedings, later RFE responses, deadline monitoring, appeals, additional revisions or representation beyond the stated question. Your consultation does not establish an attorney-client relationship with Well-Pleaded Group LLC.
How it works: (1) Provide a brief, non-sensitive description. (2) The attorney completes required conflict and professional screening. (3) Review the proposed scope, fees, exclusions and identity of the attorney. (4) Accept the separate agreement if appropriate. (5) Receive the agreed answer or deliverable. (6) The limited engagement closes as described in the agreement.
Important boundary: An initial description is not an invitation to upload an entire immigration file. If you have a hearing or government deadline approaching, identify that fact, but do not assume a request or consultation automatically creates representation or protects the deadline. If a lawyer cannot responsibly answer within a limited scope, the request may be declined or revised with your informed written consent.
