Already prepared a form or collected supporting documents? You can request an independent attorney to review a particular, identified document or package under a written limited scope. The review may identify items to correct or questions that require further analysis. It is not a promise that USCIS or a court will accept a filing or grant a benefit.
What you request: name the form or packet, state the specific question and identify any known deadline. Do not share a complete file or third-party private records until access and engagement are established.
What the lawyer decides: whether the work can reasonably be limited; which materials must be examined; whether factual completeness alone is insufficient; whether a separate engagement would be necessary.
What you receive: the exact agreed output, such as a marked-up draft, a defined issue list or a concise written review. Work begins only after scope, conflicts and payment arrangements have been settled.
What review does not include: unlimited document editing, final application assembly, submission, RFE responses, appearance, outcome guarantee or monitoring of the underlying proceeding unless separately specified in the lawyer's agreement and within platform policy.
Administrative completeness versus legal review: A technical check can confirm visible pages, file names and whether a signature field appears filled. Only an authorized lawyer can provide an individualized legal assessment of whether the document is appropriate, complete in legal substance or strategically advisable. These are sold and labelled separately, where permitted.
