Certain immigration court tasks involve assembling notices, exhibits, factual records or a particular motion or document. Independent attorneys may consider whether a clearly identified document task can be performed through a limited engagement. The platform does not determine bond eligibility, litigation strategy, procedural relief or court deadlines, and does not offer hearing appearance.
Potential tasks, subject to counsel and lawyer approval: inventory and organization of supplied documents; exhibits and index preparation; review of a specified motion or packet; lawyer-directed drafting of particular filings; technical format and completeness checks. “Bond packet” and “Master Calendar hearing documents” are descriptions of possible subject matter, not universal fixed packages or guaranteed eligible services.
Special requirement: If assistance involves a pro se individual's EOIR documents, the lawyer determines whether a limited appearance form such as EOIR-61 or EOIR-60 is required and permissible for the specific proceeding and ensures it accompanies the assisted documents when applicable. The existence of an attorney of record or a different tribunal may prevent that route. Signing and filing remain distinct acts under applicable rules. An export button is not evidence of filing. If the task entails appearance, full litigation strategy or ongoing representation, it is outside this product and handled independently by an attorney if undertaken at all.
How to inquire: briefly identify the kind of document, tribunal and known scheduled date without uploading a complete record into the initial public form. An independent lawyer screens the request and may decline to perform it in limited scope. No task or court deadline is assumed by the platform merely because you inquired.
